Stuart M. Flamen

In 2002, Mr. Flamen joined McDonnell Adels & Klestzick, PLLC as an associate, becoming a partner in 2007. Mr. Flamen handles all aspects of insurance coverage matters, with a focus on insurance fraud cases. He has conducted trials and framed issue hearings involving, among other issues, intentional and/or staged automobile losses, identity theft, and No-Fault provider fraud. He has also successfully handled affirmative litigation on behalf of insurance carriers seeking declarations that health care providers are fraudulently incorporated, and reimbursement of payments previously paid to those providers.


Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Flamen first worked in-house for one of the largest United States-based international insurance carriers. He was responsible for defending a wide variety of cases, including labor law, premises liability, automobile accident, negligent security, subrogation, false imprisonment and assault matters. He then worked for the staff counsel office of another major carrier, where he handled all aspects of a large insurance defense caseload, from inception to trial.
