Mr. Hanratty joined McDonnell Adels & Klestzick, PLLC as an Associate in 2005 and became a partner in 2015. Mr. Hanratty has tried numerous cases and conducted hundreds of Examinations Under Oath on behalf of some of the largest insurance carriers in the Nation to determine various coverage issues and also other No-fault defenses. Mr. Hanratty has been intimately involved with several investigations regarding medical providers’ eligibility to be reimbursed under the No-Fault Law and also investigated alleged motor vehicle accidents to determine whether such losses were intentionally caused to defraud the insurance carriers.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Hanratty gained his trial experience as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County where he tried both misdemeanor and felony cases. He also conducted criminal investigations and presented numerous cases to the Grand Jury as a member of the Homicide Investigations Bureau. Additionally, he gained appellate experience during his time in the Appeals Bureau.
